Hola!!! Memories of PR...

In the midst of this yucky ice storm, I felt compelled to reminisce about my recent mini-vacation to Puerto Rico where the weather was amazing! A couple of weeks ago, my boss asked if Robin and I wanted to go on the company trip to PR. Of course, we both jumped at the opportunity. Last year, they sent me on a cruise to Cozumel, Mexico, and I knew that when Heartland hosted a trip that they went all out!!!

Here are some views of the resort we stayed at...

Our room was way down at the bottom of the mountain near the marina. It took 30 minutes to get to our room from the lobby, but the view was amazing, and we were right next to the boat that you had to take to get to the private beach. They couldn't have picked a better spot at the resort for me, Erin, and Robin.

The view from our balcony. Breath-taking!!!

Robin and I on our first evening there. We are so cool!
Robin, Jeff (our sweet, adorable boss), and me at our Company Dinner on Saturday night. It had a pirate/treasure ship theme, and everyone got a sword, jewelery, and gold coins (all plastic of course). Maggie, Lauren and Landon loved all of the pirate booty I brought them back.
They were trying to recruit me to join their pirate gang.
Jeff and I on the boat ride over to the private island for dinner.

Jeff took us to a Japenese sushi place at the resort. If it weren't for him, I would have never fell in love with the stuff. He made me pop little fish eggs between my teeth. Very cool...they were sort of like rich-people Pop Rocks.
The resort was an hour away from the San Juan airport. This is a picture of Erin, Robin, and I on the comfy bus that took us around town.

We had a blast!!! Everytime it snows or we have an ice storm, I just pretend I'm back on the beach soaking up the sun and fun. :)
